What we dislike about the school
- Do not offer favorable cancellation terms in the case of a student getting a visa rejected.
Location: This school is located in the heart of Liverpool City Centre, so students can access anything that they need in an instant. There are plenty of shopping options, restaurants, bars, museums, theatres and cafes around NCG, and The St Johns Shopping Centre is under 10 minutes by foot from the school.
Travelling around Liverpool: The school is around the corner from James Street train station, which runs through the city and to surrounding cities on the Merseyrail Line. The Central Liverpool Train Station is another option and just 7 minutes by foot from the school. Bus routes run past the school entrance, and are an excellent way to navigate the city. The main area of Liverpool is very accessible by foot.
Main attractions: Due to its location, NCG is close to all the main attractions that are in the centre of Liverpool. The Liverpool Beatles Museum is just 3 minutes away from the school, whilst the pier is 8 minutes by foot. On the edge of the River Mersey is the Museum of Liverpool, Tate Liverpool, Maritime Museum and Titanic Memorial Liverpool.
Course structure: NCG provides a range of English classes; general English in a range of intensities and IELTS exam preparation courses for those that would like to pass this important English exam.
Accommodation: NCG has a wide range of homestay options so that students can fully immerse themselves in the English language and culture during their stay by staying with a local family. They also offer a residence for students who prefer to interact with other students and like minded people whilst they improve their English.
Chain school: NCG - New College Group is a collection of English language schools located in the UK and Ireland. The teaching technique used is student-based, regardless of the course, so that each student is treated as an individual and able to reach their full learning potential. They are accredited by the British Council for teaching English in their UK schools, and accredited by ACELS in Ireland.
