What our students said about Granada
Granada is an excellent city to visit. It has a rich history and cultural heritage. The Alhambra must go. Beyond the architecture and history, Granada's setting is also quite beautiful. The city is nestled at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains, providing a dramatic backdrop. And the mild Mediterranean climate makes it pleasant to explore the city's sights and landmarks year-round. Overall, I think Granada is a fantastic destination, offering visitors a chance to immerse themselves in Spanish history and culture.
It's a compact city, but I think it has plenty of great sights to see. Going on a tapas crawl is particularly fun! It is a very safe city; I never felt uneasy walking around even at night. A minor drawback is that Granada Airport is not a major hub, so you often have to rely on Malaga Airport. The evenings get cold starting in November. I also found it to be quite dry and ended up buying a small humidifier.
An incredibly great city: so much culture, fantastic tapas and dining options, countless nightlife options, a relaxed atmosphere, and a great public transportation network with the metro. Affordable breakfast deals, very inexpensive overall, close to Málaga, and surrounded by impressive mountains. Simply perfect.
In general (and I visit Spain several times a year), I get the impression that people here treat each other more humanely. Of course, there are problems in Spain too, but people there treat children and older people in particular much more humanely than in other countries.
I was hesitant to go because I saw on the news that the temperature was up to 38 °C. However, it was more comfortable than in other cities, as the temperature drops enough in the mornings and evenings to be cool enough to wear a long-sleeved shirt.
Great city, many things to do. Natural places to go, lot of opportunities to explore historical sites, and simply a very authentic city and chill to live in. I could easily do everything I normally did
I have been visiting Granada since 1995 and it is one of my favourite cities. It is wonderful, exciting, so much to do and very beautiful in parts. People are friendly and straight talking, love it.
This city surpassed my expectations, and I enjoyed exploring historical sites, as well as participating in hikes and mountain bike excursions in the nearby Sierra Nevada mountains.
Granada is a fabulous city. It's got a bit of everything and it's very affordable. The transport links are good and the staff at Linguaschools provided great tips and suggestions.
I thought the city was beautiful particularly when the weather was cold crisp mornings and bright sunny days. It is a small city so can see and do most things within a week.
What language school directors said about Granada

With its world-famous Alhambra, rich culture and lively nightlife, it is the ideal place for both studying and taking a holiday.

Granada is a cultural town: a Moorish city surrounded by historic buildings; it is a place for the Flamenco finders and lovers, and student-based city.

It's an amazing city with centuries of history and a multicultural atmosphere, also reflected in its different areas. Close to mountains and the sea.
