Location: UK College of English London is located in the cosmopolitan, capital city of England, London. Housed in the elegant Eastgate House, the school is in the heart of the City of London. There are many routes and methods of public transport, amenities, shops and sites of interest within walking distance of the school. Such places of interest include the Gherkin building, Whitechapel Art Gallery, the Sky Garden, The Tower of London and much more.
Course selection: The school has experience in providing English courses tailored to various needs and levels. In addition to General English available in the morning or afternoon, the UK College of English London also provides private lessons, IELTS Preparation programmes and Occupational English Test (OET) programmes. Private lessons are available in conjunction or independently from any other course.
Getting around: The school is a short walk from many public transport networks, including the Liverpool and Aldgate underground and train station, which are just a short walk away. There are also several bus routes and taxi services nearby.
Social and cultural: Attractions such as the British Museum, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and the London Eye are all reachable via train, being generally within a 30-minute journey of the school.
Accommodation: UK College of English London can provide accommodation in Homestay and local Residence facilities. All Homestay families are experienced hosts that have been police checked.
School facilities: The school facilities include a lounge, an auditorium, a library, a computer lab and free after-class access to language learning software. All classrooms have air conditioning, heating and ample natural light to create an optimal learning environment.

Nationals from USA do not require a visa to study short term courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 16. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires.
