Student Opinions About Studying in Albany

“I’m living in the Downtown area of Albany and I generally find the public transport to be reliable for most places I need to be, except for when I have to get to some kind of suburb because the bus service tends not to pass by those areas. To that effect, I wouldn’t live in the suburbs in Albany without having a car.”

“I studied in UAlbany and I can tell you that renting an apartment would be cheaper than staying in the campus residences. This is particularly the case if you have a roommate to share the apartment with.”

“The buses in Albany are free of charge for students, but only if you have your student I.D with you so try not to forget it! When it comes to the question of where to live, I would definitely recommend staying off-campus, and to try living close to downtown.”
