The biggest attractions are: America’s largest metropolitan zoo, Yankee Stadium, the 130 year-old New York Botanical Garden, the City Island Nautical Museum and the Bronx Museum of Arts. The famed Orchard Beach is the place to visit in the summer months. The Bronx is one of the most visited areas in the county, and has become a very popular destination for international students.

Student Opinions About Studying in Bronx

“I’ve lived in The Bronx for a few years now, and it has its ups and downs. There’s a lot of cultural diversity, which certainly enriches the student experience. The city has attractions to visit like the Yankee Stadium, Little Italy, parks, and shopping centers.”

“The Bronx has been a real experience for me so far, with a lot of cultural diversity and many places to go out and meet up with other students. There’s quite a lot of job availability here, but because of the dense population there’s also a lot of competition for each position.”

“The education options here are high-quality, and the people are friendly despite being busy almost the entire day. Rush hour is a big deal, so avoid public transport at peak hours. The crime rate is relatively high but I must say I’ve never felt unsafe here.”
