Student Opinions About Studying in Richmond

“If you’re into art and history, Virginia’s Museum of Fine Art is always putting on special exhibits, and the city in general gives a lot of public space to art and music. All of this gives the city a great energy as a place to live.”

“Richmond has really matured as a metropolitan city over the last few years, which I say as a long-time resident. We have many well-curated museums, great venues for enjoying the visual arts such as dance and so on, as well as an amazing selection of local, family-owned restaurants.”

“The public transport service here is nothing special, but it certainly fulfills its purpose and is pretty reliable. It’s better than it used to be because they’re been adding bus routes to provide more coverage to the city, and it’s really had a positive effect.”
