Student Opinions About Studying in Spartanburg

“I’ve been studying Medicine in Spartanburg for almost three years now. I find myself going to Croft State Park whenever I get the chance, as I usually eat at the famous Beacon restaurant with my friends once a month. If you try it out, please go on an empty stomach! Apart from that the rent is fairly affordable in areas close to the centre.”

“Spartanburg wasn’t my first choice but now I’m glad I ended up coming here. Not only is it affordable, but it’s also a pleasant area to live in, with a decent amount of work opportunities.”

“The tech sector here is growing faster which motivates me to finish my degree and look for internships. There are many cultural events going on such as the annual International Festival, and there’s plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy, like Hatcher Garden.”
