Mount Saint Vincent University (MSVU), otherwise known as The Mount, is a publicly funded institution of higher education which mainly focuses on undergraduate programs in the Arts, Sciences, and Education, though it also offers a few graduate degrees as well as professional training diplomas and certificates. Located on the outskirts of the city of Halifax, Nova Scotia, the MSVU campus is a wooded natural space with beautiful views of the harbor below. All the main buildings are connected by a closed-in walkway, so students can go from one building to the other without having to worry about the weather. The body of 4,000+ students is diverse and welcomes international students from more than 70 countries.
