Rutgers University-Camden is a regional campus of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Of the three campuses, the one located in the city of Camden is the furthest south and, from the campus Quad, you can see the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, just across the river. About 10% of the approximately 6,000 students live on campus. Aside from the close to 40 majors available, Rutgers-Camden offers its students several special programs, internships, study abroad options, an Honors College, and practical research possibilities with faculty members.
