How our students rated their experience in Sevilla
What our students said about Sevilla
Beautiful city with great sights and an impressive old town. Nice nightlife areas and delicious tapas bars, though I didn't find an area with smaller shops and boutiques. Friendly locals and a beautiful river promenade. It would be nice to have a beach bar, as is now the case in many big cities along the river. I missed the sea a bit, but I knew that beforehand (-;
Germany
I loved Seville. It is beautiful, full of history and very interesting. I am an older student and most of the other students were in their 20's so I didn't have much company after classes. I didn't mind but would have preferred a few more organized activities with the school.
It's a city I don't want to recommend when it's too hot like July-August, but it's a really good place for security. It's lively at night, and it would be really nice to go to an academy while staying at a homestay near the cathedral.
South Korea
Sevilla is one of the prettiest cities in Europe :) Lots of stuff to do. Nice food, great opportunities to go out incl. Salsa & Bachata dancing. Would definitely go again
Germany
There are quite a lot of tourists. But Seville is a great city and I recommend visiting there. Especially the teachers and staff at CLIC are the best.

It was good to be able to study with people of various nationalities, and it was nice that the teacher also took care of me so that I could understand him well even though he was teaching in Spanish. After-school activities are conducted only in Spanish and it was participated with all group so I didn't participate much but it was good to see that there were many fun activities.

The location and building of the school and the atmosphere within the school were excellent. I was placed in exactly the right course and the lessons in the first week with my teacher Cinta were perfect for me. I was challenged but not overwhelmed. The excursions offered by the school were great and led by friendly and competent guides. It was also great that the school's population was very diverse, both in terms of nationalities and age structure.

FAQ about schools in Sevilla
- I would like to start lessons for 50+ for 5 weeks from late December/early January. Preference is Malaga or Seville. Several years ago I completed my A1. What do you recommend?“I had a quick look to see if there are 50+ courses starting in late December and/or January, but unfortunately this is not the case. Most 50+ courses are in autumn or spring.
Why would you like to join a 50+ course?
If the reason is because you would like to take classes with other 50+ students, it is good to know that 50+ courses are actually always taught in mixed age groups (16+), but it is a 50+ course because of the activities especially for 50+ students. With that, a 50+ course is also usually a maximum of 2 weeks.
Since you would like to do 5 weeks from the end of December or January, I recommend joining a general course in a school where the average age is a bit higher. A general course often starts every Monday so you can choose your own dates and your desired length. And by having the highest average age, you are still most likely to take classes with some peers. Is that an idea?”Robin Rebecca Pietersma, Language Travel Consultant from LanguageCourse.Net - Aug 21, 2023I am 75 years old, am I too old to join the 50+ group?“Of course not! You are not too old to join any of our adult groups, there is no maximum age and the schools are happy to welcome you. ”Louise Granath, Language Travel Consultant from LanguageCourse.Net - Aug 07, 2023Didn't find what you are looking for?Interested in a specific type of course?
