Trieste ratings & opinions
How our students rated their experience in Trieste
What our students said about Trieste
It is a great city. People are very friendly and there are many points of interest. In addition, it is very safe and the prices are acceptable. The most beautiful thing about the city, apart from the people, are the landscapes; the Adriatic Sea is extremely beautiful.
Mexico
I enjoy Trieste time and time again. I've been there about twice every time since 2018. However, because there are so many cruise ships docking now, the city is quite crowded and noisy during this time.
Austria
You can feel the historical past of the Austrian monarchy (buildings and squares), and at the same time life in the city simply oozes southern flair. I liked the city very much and felt very at home.
Austria
Should remain an insider tip, as not yet overcrowded, still "normal" prices for meals, entrance fees etc.; public transport with excellent app for navigation and timetable.
Germany
Very liveable and worth experiencing city, beautiful surroundings, especially as Slovenia, Ljubljana, Muggia, Grotta Gigante... and Venice are not so far away.
Germany
I can't really rate the nightlife and public transport. Trieste is now one of my favourite cities. I was all by myself and I felt so safe.
Austria
Exciting and relaxed. Very pleasant. Only the food wasn't as great as expected. Probably bad luck with the restaurant selection.
Germany
Central Europe on the Adriatic with coffee house culture - affectionate, personable and metropolitan.
Germany
Trieste is a beautiful, friendly and interesting city and I will visit Trieste again.
Austria
We have been there more than 20 times ... and it will certainly not be the last time
Austria
I had never heard of Trieste and it was a surprise. Very beautiful, to live it.
Mexico
Lots of wind, but pleasant weather, great coffee, nice city centre
Austria
very nice and relaxed, not too touristy but still a lot going on
Germany
Very welcoming for tourists and complete in offer of activities.
Argentina
Trieste is a very liveable, lively city. I like it very much.

The school is very well organised and everyone, the teaching staff as well as the administration and leisure tutors, are very nice, helpful and competent. You never feel left alone. The teachers, in my case Virginia and Lara, made the lessons interesting and also with some humour and were very patient. The school, as well as the great Dorian on the excursions, were also very nice and accommodating to the older students.

I liked everything: the organization, the quality of teaching, the sympathy and excellent predisposition of all the staff and director. It exceeded my expectations and it is a lot considering that it is the eighth course I attended in Italy.
School of excellence.

I had two hours of grammar and two hours of speaking practice in Italian.
I was with a very friendly family and they also cooked deliciously.
Desks should be square not round. It's a juggler and you can't put your book and it doesn't have any drawer.
