Positive aspects of school
All the teachers I met were highly motivated and organised their lessons in a variety of exciting but always very professional manner. All available media were used. There was a special focus on speaking and every student was involved. All questions were answered comprehensively and any kind of assistance was gladly given.
Negative aspects
At the Eden Quay site, there is not enough heating for the rooms in winter, so everyone wore jackets, gloves, scarves etc. during lessons. Small fan heaters were set up as an emergency supply, which then paralysed the power supply. At times, it was difficult to spend all lessons sitting in the cold, which also led to many absences due to illness.

I would book here again at any time.
City/place
Dublin is a great city to meet people from all over the world. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. Dublin is a nice size and you can reach almost everything on foot.
Quality of teaching / language progress
Amy, Anthony, David and Brian are the best teachers!!! Captivating, inspiring lessons.
Accommodation
The student residence is great compared to other accommodation in Dublin. The location is incredibly beautiful on the River Liffey and opposite the 3 Arena. Every morning on the way to school you can enjoy the sunrise. However, the cleanliness is poor when you take over the room. The drains had not been cleaned for many months and the bed linen was stained. The kitchen equipment is super poor (e.g. 1 medium sized pot for 8 people, no colander for draining, no coffee machine). In the 3 months of my stay, it was not possible to replace the only mop, which was broken when I arrived and therefore unusable. There were brooms, but no pick-up and hand brush. Despite several requests, it was not possible to get replacements. The host said I should contact the school as they were the tenants and the school said I should ask the host first .... and so it went round and round until no one solved anything. There were then tenants who bought a scrubber themselves so that they didn't have to mop the rooms by hand.

Positive aspects of school
Location is perfect! Not easy to find it but then it’s perfect. Teachers are great and so are classmates.
Negative aspects
Not easy to find in the beginning.
Other comments
The guy at the help desk, really nice and friendly.
Quality of teaching / language progress
Perfect number of students. I’d like to speak a little more in class.
Accommodation
The shared spaces were quite dirty and I had to send an email, especially the kitchen. But the location is perfect. They should improved to keep the luggage until the time to check in. Or even when leaving at 10 in the morning and have to keep the luggage until the flights departure in the afternoon. I know that there are a few places at the city but EUR 7 per each is expensive

Positive aspects of school
Fantastic teachers Keith and Eimear who put a lot of energy and ingenuity into teaching using a variety of forms, methods and materials. Warm, friendly contact with students from the whole School team. Authentic, very interesting ways of teaching, unobtrusive didactics creating a good, safe learning atmosphere. Openness and respect for diversity (despite a significant age difference, I did not feel any difference in the approach to me). Very good atmosphere during lessons. Individual approach to the student while taking care to work in pairs, groups. Attentiveness and alertness to the needs of each individual student. Great team of committed, professional people.
Negative aspects
Too little information on afternoon activities. It would be nice to see information about afternoon and weekend opportunities and meetings in emails or text messages. (Right now they are only on a board in the hall).
City/place
I fell in love with this city full of life and interesting architecture. It is well connected and the locals are very friendly and welcoming. There are many places to visit in the city itself: museums, the James Joyce Centre, Trinity College as well as outside: beaches along the coast, castles e.g. Malahide Castle, cliffs e.g. Howth. Life in the pubs is buzzing in the afternoon - live music draws people in and encourages them to party together.
Quality of teaching / language progress
A very well chosen for me morning and afternoon course.
Accommodation
Very comfortable room with private bathroom. Quiet neighbourhood well connected to the centre. Proximity to beaches and scenic spots. Fully equipped, with comfortable bed, work area and plenty of storage space for your belongings. Bathroom with shower, with basic beauty products. Hosts very open, easy to get in touch with, responsive to requests but also allowing for intimacy and independence.

I liked Dublin. Lots of beautiful things to see, as well as museums.
But it's expensive, and the city is dirty.
Quality of teaching / language progress
Very good. Full time would be better for more progress.
