Additional information
Positive aspects of school
Yes, overall I would say good. Although there are a few inadequate points.
The school itself is doing very well, and the director of the school was very committed and courteous. The teachers also do a good job.

Additional information
Positive aspects of school
The school has a very good location in the city centre. The teachers are very good and have a well-organised curriculum. The display boards are very large and can be linked to computers.
Negative aspects
Due to the central location, the street noise is sometimes unbearable. The seating with the small shelves is not sufficient. Unfortunately, there are no classes for students aged 30 and older. The discipline of some young students was disastrous. The organisation of events by the school is not a hit.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
You should treat yourself to a historical stroll through the city.
Other comments
I am very happy with EC English, but I would not choose Cambridge again.
City/place
A beautiful city with many historic buildings (churches, colleges, city centre, churches, museums) and a very nice botanical garden. The city has several city parks and you can get out into nature very quickly.
Quality of teaching / language progress
The course was very good, but unfortunately with a lot of young students (18 to 26 years old). The discipline of some young students was catastrophic.
Accommodation
The host family was very nice, but five guests and the host family shared a bathroom. There was no common room for breakfast. The family lived in a room right in front of the kitchen. Everything was adequate, but you had to be very willing to compromise.

Unfortunately, the promises about the host families were and are not true. The fantasies of the students about typical English families, living as they live, eat what they eat and applying what you have learned when you talk to them, were for me and a lot of other students I talked to very ridiculous. A lot of these families were not English and we as students could speak better English than them. The booked and paid half board could have saved most of us some money.
