Positive aspects of school
The staff were kind. The teacher could talk to my son and take care of his homework after he had a problem adjusting to the level of the class.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
He didn't enjoy the class at all. He was only happy to be with a Japanese boy talking in Japanese, playing phone games and going out to get fries during lunch time. One of the reason is that as a 10 year old boy, it was too difficult to learn e.g. passivity grammar and understand what the teacher said. Most of the vocabulary and grammar were for junior high school students in Japan. I told this to the staff and my son was happy on the next day as he said that the teacher didn't talk to him in English any more. This is not something that I expected but I want them to let him understand by talking slowly, using easier words and gestures. Or, there were too many students to do that. There was one day that they go out to have an interview to the people on the street as an activity. His team finished so soon and was back in the class watching video, because there was nothing to do. He didn't understand the rule of the activity. I wonder if this was how the activity works. I think the teacher should have watched the students that weren't doing well more carefully. He scored 14/49 as a final test. He didn't seem to learn anything from the school. I wanted to see the material and be informed what my son didn't understand so that I could review with him when the school is over. School should have been more aware that I am with him to help. I felt I chose the wrong school for him even if I spent a lot of fees and time.
Other comments
I don't know if this applies only to us as there were so many students that I feel this school is popular. Maybe the situation would be slightly better if my kids prepare something before joining this school.

Positive aspects of school
I had good communication with the staff both before booking and after school starts. They listened to me if I had any questions. They were kind enough to store our luggage and take us to the bus depot on the day we left.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
There was no activity on the first day because of the test, which I wasn't informed in advance. We are not satisfied with the activities as they were expensive but contents were poor - e.g. there was a day that they only go to the mall and let students have a free time and shop. I was expected that my kids can learn more English by doing something within the group. The schedule changes all the time, and I had to call about the content, time and whether we need a day pass ticket in advance. I wanted them to inform whenever the schedule changes as I am with them as a parent.
Other comments
I chose this school as I expected them to stress the importance of speaking abilities, according to the web. In fact, I don't see any outstanding changes compared to other schools. As my daughter has learnt some grammar at school, it helped a lot during the class, but my younger son had such a hard time.
