The teacher was great
Negative aspects
The price, the time schedule, the accommodation, the lack of soul and atmosphere
City/place
Really challenging without a car. Walking is dangerous and the public transport unreliable.
Quality of teaching / language progress
A bit surprising that my hours were reduced by half. That said I appreciated the fact that the school added 2 hours at the end.

Absolute holiday place with a beautiful beach and national park. So there is something for everyone. However, this also pushes up the prices.
Accommodation
I liked it there very much. Shopping facilities just around the corner. Bus connection too. But the neighbourhood (dogs, cars, motorbikes) was very noisy.

My teacher Marianela was so engaging, fun, systematic, and effective. Location was awesome too!
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
The gym 10 mins away next to a few excellent restaurants (Emilio’s café, café azul) and the hike down from there to the beach is well worth a visit.
