Location: BISS is located in the beautiful and friendly city of Brighton, southern England. Housed inside the Dorothy Stringer High School, BISS offers students the unique "high school" experience during the summer months, with all access to the school's facilities. Located outside of the city centre, BISS is a short walk from The Preston Manor Museum, Preston Park, supermarkets, eateries and the Preston Park railway station, which offers a direct route to London. The surrounding area of the school is in a nice residential area of Brighton, with families local to the school supplying the Homestay accommodation available on the Junior Summer School programme.
Course selection: The Junior Summer School programme is available as full-board, with Homestay (meals included), activities and weekend excursions included. Alternate programmes such as "Course only" may also be made available upon request.
School facilities: The school has over 30 years of experience in supplying a variety of courses to teenagers throughout the summer months, BISS is well equipped to offer students an experience like no other. The facilities within Dorothy Stinger High School ensure that students receive a unique "high school" experience whilst taking full advantage of the school canteen, sports hall and field, tennis courts and dance studio.
Social and Cultural: The activity programme is varied, including a well-balanced mix of fun and sporty and cultural activities that take place in Brighton and the surrounding areas.

It includes full board accommodation in a twin room, full social programme, cultural activities and sports and a full-day excursion to London on Saturdays.

It is a balanced programme with an emphasis on speaking and listening.
The afternoon activities encourage practice of the skills learned in the classroom. Activities include shopping, sightseeing, visits to the beach, the famous Victorian Brighton Pier, the exotic Royal Pavilion, sports, kayaking, bowling, discos and barbecues.
