Such attractions within walking distance of the school include the Brewery Quarter, Mr Mulligans Miniature Golf, the Everyman Theatre, the Imperial Square and Garden and Neptune Fountain.

In addition to General English taught over several schedules and intensities, the school also provides programmes in Business English, several specialist English for work programmes, Exam Preparation courses ( IELTS), and a choice of one-to-one learning packages. During the summer months, fully immersive junior courses are available and from May to September, senior courses including Garden Culture, which involves several trips to gardens of the local area, are readily available.

Student opinions about Inlingua , Cheltenham

Liked
Everyone is very friendly, addresses you by your first name, is helpful and immediately tries to find solutions to problems. Relaxed yet clear structures, the international atmosphere feels familiar, even if you don't know everyone personally, and even as a senior you are warmly accepted by the younger ones. In addition to language teaching, this school also does "international relations work", e.g. at the barbecue at the end of the week.... I am totally inspired!
Disliked
I would have liked to know beforehand that you don't get a book for a 2-week course - I understand, but I would have brought my grammar book, a pencil, sharpener, eraser, hole punch and a A4 folder for the numerous sheets of paper.... Maybe I didn't read all the Inlingua information carefully enough? Maybe, that's all and only a little disturbing and everything was to be found at Smith.

Quality of teaching / language progress: Sensationally good. I was literally 'blown away' by the many unique, England-specific, beautiful impressions.
Other comments Inlingua should be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, not only companies should send their employees individually, but schools, all over the world, their students, but individually! Too idealistic, of course...

FAQ about Inlingua ,

  • In the UK, I can recommend to you the senior programme offered by Inlingua in Cheltenham. The English 50+: Gardens and Tours / British Culture and Customs run on specific dates and it's not available year-round. The course includes single room homestay accommodation (half board on weekdays, full board on weekends).

The programme is uniquely designed for mature students. The English lessons take place in the morning where students will talk about the afternoon trip; they will go through the vocabulary, sentences, and expressions that they are likely to encounter. Social activities include trips to gardens, Cotswolds Villages, cathedrals, river cruises, etc.
