It is designed for students who wish to make a big improvement in their level of English over a short period of time. Classes are 6 hours per day 5 days a week. English classes in the afternoon usually have fewer students so you can study more of your specific needs.

The course covers the four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation if necessary with a specific emphasis on improving oral communication and listening. Materials are taken from a whole range of diverse texts in order to tailor-make the programme to each group of students.

It is designed for those students that wish to take part in a group class in the mornings but would also like to enjoy the school’s interesting and varied afternoon activity programme. 

The course includes 15 hours of General English in a group + 15 hours afternoon activities per week from 14:00 to 17:00 as well as a day trip on Saturdays. 

The adult programme has more of a nature and cultural emphasis including visits to Ross Castle, Muckross House, as well as outdoor activities such as cycling and walks in the National Park.

Saturday day trips include trips to Cork,Blarney, Glengarrif, Garinish Island, the Dingle Peninsula and Ring of Kerry.

The course consists of 15 group lessons plus 5 individual lessons per week.

The course includes 15 hours of General English per week in a group + 1 hour of private tuition per afternoon.

It is designed for those students that wish to take part in a group class covering the four major skill areas of speaking, listening, reading and writing but would also like to get individual help for specific areas of their language learning. One-to-one classes are a fantastic way to make a very rapid improvement in a student’s level of English over a short period of time. These classes can even be tailor-made to suit the student’s needs which may include English for Law, Medicine, Hotel and Catering or Tourism.

It offers you 25 weeks of General English. To help you pay for this you can work up to 20 hours per week while studying and up to 40 hours per week for the 8 weeks you do not study.

Killarney is an extremely busy tourist town and is always looking for workers, especially in the summer from June to September.

This course allows you to stay in Ireland for 8 months.

Depending on your English level, you will have to take an exam before you finish your course. This can be arranged and paid for after you arrive at school.

This course is available to all teenagers and is the only course available for teenagers who are not travelling with their parents. It consists of 15 hours of English in a group class per week plus 15 hours of activities in the afternoons and a Saturday day trip.

The curriculum tends to follow a communicative approach with teachers using a methodology that emphasises the use of role-play, situational dialogues, discussion and games to increase confidence and improve fluency. Reading and writing skills also play a part in helping the speaking as they generate and consolidate new vocabulary and grammar.

In order to reinforce the communicative and fun aspect of the programme, there is a performance at the end of the week during which each class sings a song or performs a role-play or sketch and awards are given for the best performance. Teenagers love this chance to compete with each other and show off their dancing, singing and/or acting skills.

• Capoeira.
  
• Ball Sports.
  
• Cycling around Muckross Lake.
  
• Jaunting car trip around town.
    
  There is also a day trip on Saturdays included in the price: trips to Cork, Limerick, Dingle and the Gap of Dunloe.  
  
  

This course takes place at the Kids Zone, an area at the back of the main building, specifically designed to hold the children's classes. Children would be separated by ages (3-5, 6-7, 8-12) and levels. The programme listed includes only the English lessons.

The children’s English language curriculum is designed to make the act of language learning both fun and stimulating for young learners. It combines the most up-to-date communicative language teaching methodology with role play, songs and games to ensure that children leave with a positive feeling about their learning experience in Killarney.

The teachers concentrate on encouraging communication. There is more focus on communication and creativity (drawings, songs, play etc.). Materials are taken from a whole range of diverse texts in order to tailor-make the course to each group of students.

5 different levels are available from Introduction to Pre Intermediate (pre-A1-B1).

This course is only available to teenagers who are staying in Killarney with their parents. It consists of 15 hours of English in a group class per week (mornings only).

If you feel you have more specific needs that cannot be accommodated in a group class it is possible to take a one-to-one course in the afternoons only. You can decide in advance how many classes you wish to take and inform what you wish to be taught at that time. It can simply be General English if you wish or something more specialised such as pronunciation practice, business, medical or legal English. Materials are hand-picked from a variety of different sources to ensure that the student’s needs are met at all times.

15 hours General English in Group Class + 10 hours Horse Riding (afternoons) and Saturday Day Trip.

This programme is not suitable for Advanced horse riders. Available only during Easter or the summer months, the horse riding part of the programme will be delivered by Abbeyglen Equestrian Centre, one of the best equestrian centres in Kerry.

The Horse riding centre offers a series of delightful treks through the woodlands, as well as lessons, jumping, pony games and stable management in their indoor ménage area.
