Location: Spinnaker School of English Portsmouth is located in the port city of Portsmouth, on England's South Coast. The school is housed in the city centre, surrounded by commercial shopping, eateries, restaurants and several of the city's attractions. Students will be regularly assessed on their progress.
The use of graded readers of popular and authentic literature titles are given to all levels to extend vocabulary, promote extensive reading in English and to incorporate a variety of reading strategies.
Special note for 2024 holiday season: If you plan to take a course during the high season months of April, June, July or August 2024 we urgently advise you to book as early as possible. In 2023 many schools were fully booked during the holidays, and the situation is unlikely to be different for 2024 due to a current shortage of teachers, which affects most schools.
