All nationals require a valid passport.

Valid passport required by all. Entry and transit is refused to deportees of other countries who are not nationals of Guatemala.

Who does not require a visa?
Nationals of the following countries do not require a visa when entering as a tourist:

Andorra, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Barbados, Belgium, Belize, Brazil, British Virgin Islands, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, Denmark, El Salvador, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Honduras, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Madagascar, Malaysia, Malta, Marshall Islands, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Qatar, Romania, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, San Marino, São Tomé and Príncipe, Singapore, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Bahamas, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, Tuvalu, United Kingdom, Uruguay, USA, Vanuatu, Vatican City, Venezuela.

Nationals of Andorra, Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Chile, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Israel, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, The Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and Uruguay may extend their visit to 3 months by written agreement.

  • Evidence of sufficient funds for stay
  • Stamped, self-addressed envelope when postal application

  • Tourist Visa: 90 days.
