スタッフは皆親切。滞在中に日本で震災があり、国際電話を無料で使わせてくれました。

学校にパソコンルームがあり、無料でインターネットが使えますが、日本語入力ができませんでした、日本語表示のできないパソコンもあり残念。Wi-fi接続もできるので、パソコンは持参すると良いと思います。

友人宅にステイしたので学校が遠く通うのに時間がかかりましたが、学校で頼めば徒歩圏内を紹介してもらえるようです。

Accommodation - because there were 5-6 people staying at the apartments, did not benefit from interactions with host family. Limitations on gas/electricity also created some inconveniences.

I loved the sense of community I felt within the student body and between the students and faculty. Not only was the facility accessible and comfortable, the classes were extremely helpful in my language development and created a fun environment to explore language and culture.

There were many people form different countries and there were few people attending in each class, thus you had to speak in portuguese almost as a must. That was good!

There is a high level of focus and consistency in placing you in a class at the appropriate level. I find all the teacher very friendly people and the notes are excellent.

Please ensure to bring a dictionary and a book of verbs.

Hopefully there will be a level 5 class available when I go back again.

The bus to Costa da Caparica (nice beach, awful buildings) goes from Praca da Espanha. Otherwise by ferry from Cais do Sodré to Cacilhas and then by bus.

Das angenehme Klima in der Schule, die äußerst kompetenten und sehr höflichen Lehrer, die sehr engagierten Leute im Sekretariat, der großartige Kaffee aus dem Automaten, die Freizeitgestaltung, also: einfach ALLES! Es waren zwei großartige Wochen, die ich nicht missen möchte! Ein herzliches Dankeschön an jeden Einzelnen und an die Organisation!

Es wird so viel angeboten, einfach ansehen und mitmachen, es lohnt sich bestimmt.

make sure you are put into the correct class

i was no assessed and put into a complete beginners class. I am a labguage teacher of French and Spanish and already had a good undesrtanding of the basics of portuguese - indeed i could cominicate v basicaly in Portuguese!!! I asked to be moved and was half way through the second day!!!

Try and go on the cultural visits the school offers because they are free whereas to go alone you have to pay at least 5 euro. Also in Lisbon buy a month metro pass even if you are only staying for 2 weeks because its only 28 euro and you will no doubt pay more if you travel about lisbon buying individual tickets!

Great atmosphere, high level of lessons, and a lot of social activities and integration with other students. Miguel was creating a great atmosphere during city trips and sightseeing.

Use as much of the social offer as possible - that was great extension to language classes.
