What our students said about Biarritz
Biarritz is a very beautiful Basque city whose traditions are recognizable. The coastline to the south exudes a certain charm with its steep slopes and the Côte des Basques is a great beach, but unfortunately only accessible for half a day. The Grande Plage is mainly used for tourist life, where it can get quite crowded in the high season. The weather is not so stable that Biarritz is the ideal place for sunbathing, but the waves there enable a unique surfing experience, which definitely makes up for a little wind or rain. The city is very well connected by buses and offers numerous restaurants.
I loved Biarritz, location, the ocean, the coastal line, the history, everything, food, shopping, cinema, theatre, surfing-I tried everything. I am going to go back there.
Really liked the whole vibe of the place including the lovely beaches, great transport links, interesting places to visit etc.
Biarritz is a very beautiful city! Because it's on the Atlantic, the climate was perfect.
No assessment of the climate, as it was constantly over 30 degrees, even 40 for 2 days!
Biarritz is characterised by tourism. The location of the town is beautiful.
Amazing with so many layers - I will look forward to returning!
It's beautiful and it's worth exploring it in full.
Its accessible, nice climate, good food and safe.

Course: Standard Programme - 2 weeks
Student age: 60 years

I liked the atmosphere, almost family like. The school building and the yard look absolutely fantastic in the summer. I liked coffee/tea facilities. I liked the fact that the students can just easily talk to tutors, and the tutors were friendly and engaging. Teaching methods were good I thought.
