"Two of us came in the first half of December and had a B2 course to ourselves, i.e. very intensive lessons with Maria and Silvia. Both were super nice and understanding, always excellently prepared and always answered all our questions. They were extremely flexible with us, always concentrated on the subject and focused on us as learners. We felt that we were in very good hands the whole time and also made very good progress linguistically. The division of our mornings into two double lessons and a final joint lesson with the students on the B1 course was also very intelligent; this meant that we were always able to talk to them at the end and get to know them too. The school is very well organized and located in a vibrant district, which makes it the key to the city."

"Naples can compete with the major European cities, but many of them were stuck in autumn fog during the first half of December, while we were still enjoying sunshine and temperatures of 15-20°C in Naples. Where Naples still lags behind, e.g. in terms of pedestrian and bicycle friendliness, this is offset by the warmth and intelligence of the people, especially Maria and Silvia, our language teachers, with whom we were able to discuss these issues. They give us confidence that their generation will soon change these things for the better."

"Small groups, flexible, responsive to wishes about what you would like to repeat or learn, committed teachers who often come up with something (e.g. a little get-together at Halloween with decorations, sweets...). I can highly recommend the school and if I ever find myself in Naples again, I will definitely go back to NaClips!"

"The city has a lot to offer historically. But even at the end of October/beginning of November, the city was still full of tourists. The weather was great. Unfortunately, I found the city to be very dirty in many places. I didn't experience that in Florence, Milan, Genoa and Rome, for example."

"It was very well organized. Gaya always took care of all matters e.g. the premises and I was always addressed personally in a very friendly way. (I had not transferred the money even in this situation very obliging, flexible, although of course it was my job to transfer it!). A good atmosphere, an arranged team. Stay as you are! You are great guys Maria, Sylvia, Gaya. It was structured individual learning. For me it was perfect. Maria kept restarting when I had a learning block. I also found working with the laptop in between very varied and working on pronunciation. I was sometimes confused, Maria sorted out my mental chaos and it was possible to continue learning. She showed exceptional patience and praised me the whole week! We don't have such good teachers in Berlin. I also liked the group learning games, describing objects in Italian in the group and the Italian regional menu of Italy innovative ‘Good Idea’, I am really a grump but I really liked it 10 points out of 10, congratulations to you, humor was not missing in the games, I hope you continue for a long time!"

"I can't be critical in my assessment of Naples. I love the architecture - the houses, the alleyways. I suspect that the small craft businesses have no chance economically. The poverty is terrible or you can't get a job. Naples and its surroundings are characterized by countless churches, castles and historic buildings, a beautiful city with a heart. The history of Pompeii is incredible. Living with the threat of active volcanic volcanoes is not easy either. I wasn't interested in the nightlife, so no rating."

"The lessons are incredibly well structured. I particularly liked the way the lessons were organised with different teachers: 09.00 - 10.20: 1st lesson 10.30 - 12.00: 2nd lesson (building on the 1st lesson) 12.00 pm: all classes come together and play a game together (in Italian) or discuss a cultural speciality of Naples, for example. Everything was great fun and all the teachers I met were simply fantastic! A big recommendation!"

"I attended a one-week intensive course at B1 level at the school in September (group and individual lessons, 30 hours in total) and weeks later I am still completely thrilled: The choice of topics was excellent and often tailored to my personal interests. The teachers are well-trained, open, likeable, humorous, committed, motivating and knowledgeable discussion partners. The content of the course was very varied, including aspects of Napoleonic culture and politics, and in formal terms it was an ideal mix of reading, grammar and conversation. The cultural programme was also exceptional: a trip to the State Archives of Naples, a magnificent 19th century palazzo that is otherwise difficult to access."

"Naples is not an easy city, probably only for very few Germans love at first sight. But once you get over your shock at the rubbish, the poor state of repair of some of the buildings, the noise and the general chaos, there is an incredible amount of beautiful and interesting things to discover from all periods of the city's millennia-old history. And after a while, the chaos just seems like sheer hustle and bustle, which is just as infectious as the calmness and friendliness of the Napoletani."

"Just great!"

"Incredibly impressive sights in Naples and the surrounding area, which is very easy to reach, especially by train (e.g. Vesuvius, Pompeii, Ercolano and the Amalfi Coast). Naples also has a lot to offer in terms of cuisine - especially street food at easily affordable prices. Only the Aperol in the restaurants is always a bit more expensive in the evening - better to take ToGo if you want to save money (between 2 and 4 euros currently). Security depends somewhat on the neighbourhood (as everywhere) - I would inform myself beforehand. Despite living in a difficult neighbourhood, I had no negative experience. Occasionally a rucksack compartment was open after the metro ;-) - so watch out for valuables (just like everywhere else). The cleanliness could still be worked on, especially with regard to waste disposal - but hardly a problem in the tourist areas."

"The lessons often integrated Neapolitan culture, food and music which created a more interesting learning experience. My teacher also gave tips on where to eat, which museums are important and what foods to try, always in Italian. Instead of using a book, we used handouts that were more specific to the grammar covered. The classes always started and ended on time. At 59 years old I had trepidation about returning to school, even a language school, but it turned out to be the joy of my 2 month stay in Napoli."

"Make sure to take day trips to the nearby islands. Rome is also a 75 minute train ride away. Explore a new church everyday. Eat something that does not exist where you live. Take a walk along the sea on Sundays and have a drink at the many outdoors cafes. Visit Castle St.Elmo on the top of the city for the best views around. Find a local bar to have a coffee in every morning and connect with the staff there and make it your own. Visit the catacombs in the funky neighborhood of Sanita’. Buy a ticket to Teatro San Carlo, the oldest opera house in Europe. Tours are also available. Pompeii is also a great day trip."

"Communication was excellent from the first e mail to the last WhatsApp goodbye and good luck. The teachers are professional but also really make learning fun and relative to life in Naples and Italy. We were offered coffee and cookies often before our lessons, very sweet. We were all invited to share a beautiful cake marking the 4th anniversary of NaClips. The location is in the middle of the city, 3 minute walk from the metro and is set between 2 interesting neighborhoods. I researched 3 other schools before choosing NaClips and I know I made the correct choice."

"Napoli has many interesting layers of culture. There are plenty of museums, castles and churches to visit. I took day trips to each of the 3 beautiful nearby islands, Procida, Ischia,Capri. The street life is colorful and the street art is very creative.I can’t imagine being bored here. Even though the restaurants are very affordable I became bored with the majority of them serving only pizza and/or pasta. There are different neighborhoods to explore and the city center is very walkable. Yes I found the city dirty but this is not new news. I believe it’s a very particular city and I plan on returning."

"Again, local and Italian culture were integrated into the lessons which made learning more relative while still keeping to the teaching of grammar. I had homework which was not laborious that I in fact looked forward to doing. If I had trouble with a certain lesson my teacher would stop and review the grammar."

"I really liked the school and the teaching method. The teachers are very attentive to detail and were always encouraging us to speak."

"Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19, the school could not organize social activities, and we had no interaction with other students. However, I understand that it was not a school's fault, it was a very difficult situation worldwide. "

"I took a 2 weeks course and I reckon that this duration is reasonable for those who already have a good knowledge of the Italian language. In my point of view, a student who is a complete beginner would not learn too much in such a short period of time."
