What our students said about Galway

The language school is located in the immediate city centre. Apart from many advantages, this has the disadvantage that the daily lunch in the heavily frequented city centre is very expensive. A minimum of 10 Euros is to be expected in each case. But the offer is very varied. The public transport is offered on the line 407, which was used to reach my host family, only every half hour and on Sundays as well as in the evening hours only once per hour. The bus is always at least 5 minutes late during rush hours. It also happened that the bus did not come at all.

5.0Anja Germany

A wonderful city! Full of music and friendly locals. Within easy walking distance of important tourist attractions, such as the Cliffs of Moher, which can be reached for an inexpensive price by public transport. A well-developed network of travel agencies that also offer trips to more distant places for reasonable prices.

5.0Ewa Germany

Galway is worth a visit, a beautiful city with lots of attractions. Live Irish music in the pubs is sensational. Residents friendly, smiling whatever the weather.

5.0Lucyna Poland

It is a great place to go to study English, it is a university town so it is very lively and because it is small it is very liveable for students.

5.0Andrea Italy

Nice, clean university city that looks more like a small town. Good shopping and entertainment facilities.

5.0Claudia Germany

Tourist town, but with strong traits of real Ireland. A place I would definitely return to.

4.0Dylan Italy

Very relaxed in the off-season, probably unbearably overcrowded in the summer!

5.0Olaf Germany

A beautiful city, very well laid out. I felt very comfortable.

5.0Henriette Germany

I would recommend it to my friends and family to try it

5.0Tímea Hungary

It is a very unique, beautiful and above all safe city.

Organization is definitely the strong point; the classes are never too large which allows for very personalized teaching. The blackboards are state-of-the-art and the online materials are also very useful. The professors are all very knowledgeable and friendly. One is well taken care of at all times, from the first day during the welcome to the last with the farewell ceremony.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions About English Courses in Galway

How much would a private single room with private bathroom cost, two weeks, starting August 4th?
All schools reserve their accommodation for students enrolling on a language course with them. We will be happy to send you a detailed quotation for a language course including accommodation with the features you require.
Veronica Romualdi, Language Travel Consultant from LanguageCourse.Net - Apr 10, 2024
I am looking for a two-week English course for two girls aged 11 and 13 in August.
Many schools in summer organize junior programmes comprising course + activity programme + accommodation in a residence or host family (with full board). However, most of these programmes end the last week of July, or the first week of August. If you can't move your travel dates, we have an ultra-comprehensive programme, "Study and Live in Your Teacher's Home", which allows you to organize both your course and activities more freely, where you study and live in your teacher's home for rapid and complete language progress.
