What our students said about Galway
The language school is located in the immediate city centre. Apart from many advantages, this has the disadvantage that the daily lunch in the heavily frequented city centre is very expensive. A minimum of 10 Euros is to be expected in each case. But the offer is very varied. The public transport is offered on the line 407, which was used to reach my host family, only every half hour and on Sundays as well as in the evening hours only once per hour. The bus is always at least 5 minutes late during rush hours. It also happened that the bus did not come at all.

Very relaxed in the off-season, probably unbearably overcrowded in the summer!

I felt very comfortable in this language school. Small class sizes, different levels, very friendly and open-minded teachers. The teachers rotate so that I also had the pleasure of being taught by different teachers. Everyone has their own methods and approach. I not only learned English there, but also a lot about the country and its people and this has not been limited to Ireland. The classes are mixed differently: different backgrounds, different cultures, different mother tongues. Through the group work, you have the opportunity to learn about all these, to get into conversation and make friends at the same time.
The school itself offers various leisure activities and additional hours. Bus tours can also be booked and paid for at the school.

The teachers are really good
I had a host family too far from the school. More than 4 km. No flexibility from the school if you need start or finish in the middle of the week you have to pay the whole week

Teachers MARTIN & EVANS - these two are the best.
Martin, my afternoon teacher, is one of the most talented, I have no words to describe him. I never saw or met someone so sensible and close to the students. The way he interacts is really amazing!! I hope next year when I return for my IELTS course, he can still be there.

The small class size. I attended classes in February/March and the average class size was about five or six students, especially the classes in the afternoon were characterized by a very small amount of students taking part in the class.

The historic building. Location. Friendly staff.
Facilities (including PCs) are not very new though, there is free WiFi in the school. So, you don't have any problems, if you take your device with you. The school organises the excursions and the activities. There are many popular bars and restaurants around the school. The school staff gives you the information

Everyone was very laid back and friendly which created a pleasant atmosphere.
WLAN (or WiFi) was unfortunately only partially usable. The lunch break between morning and afternoon sessions was quite long at 75 minutes.

I particularly enjoyed the fact of studying in a class composed of different nationalities and languages.
The host families should be better selected : closer to the city center and with a true relationship between host and student.
