This course is for students in 6eme to Terminale (French school system). It includes a 30-hour course per week and aims to help students develop their skills in both oral comprehension and expression in order to encourage them to speak spontaneously and with confidence.

This course prepares students for the TOEIC exam.

Every morning English or French lessons with an experienced and native teacher, 2 excursions and 3 sailing activities per week.

Programme does not include formal tuition, and placement may be with a host family that does not include a qualified language tutor. Instead, students simply join their host family’s life for the duration of the programme. Each week includes four afternoon excursions and a full-day excursion at the weekend (courses longer than one week duration only).

On this programme, you will find yourself immersed in a French learning environment, since you will be living with your teacher in their family home. Your weekly schedule needs to be agreed upon with your host, and you will have 15 hours of private classes to distribute throughout the week. These classes can be based on conversation, grammar, or anything else that you would find interesting and motivating to study.

Lyon is not very big, so you will find it easy to get around when it comes to exploring this city. The metro service is particularly useful for getting wherever you need to go and is well-known for being clean and safe. For any hobbies that you want to start or continue while in Lyon, your host family will show you where you can find certain types of activities, helping you to enjoy your time here. Note that your hosts will prepare your daily meals, so you won’t have to worry about this.

Every home-in-the-home tuition programme has been validated by inspectors as being fit for purpose, and all tutors have the necessary teaching qualifications - ensuring that classes are delivered in a professional environment. For those learners who don’t have any particular hurry or urgency when it comes to improving their French, the Classic course offered by InTuition in Montpellier is the best option - with a very manageable 15 hours of lessons per week. In practice, your total exposure to French will be much greater than 15 hours per week, due to the combined factors of living in Montpellier and living with a local homestay family in their home. You can take your learning at your own pace, and perhaps give more of your time to exploring what the surrounding city has to offer.

Your homestay family will provide you with breakfast, lunch and dinner - something that will save you time, and also create the opportunity for you to sit down together and have a chat in French about life, French culture, or just the weather.

20 lessons of French gastronomy dedicated to presenting the history and principles of French gastronomy, the differences between the North and the South of the country and French local specialities. It includes 2 cooking classes per week with a chef.
The content of the course is based around the following areas:

• Presentation of French gastronomy (history, principles and rules).
• France and the local cuisine: French regional specialties.
• The differences between the North and the South of the country.
• Learn how to create a delicious recipe with French culinary vocabulary to impress your guests.
• Visit to a local market with regional products.
• Learn to identify products and create full menus.
