What our students said about London
It rains a lot in London. The sun goes down early. It's 4 o'clock. Of course, it's winter. Prices were too high. Most of the meals were expensive and tasteless. Unless you go grocery shopping, you will encounter fish and chips and fast food. I tried other menus, but they were not good for being expensive and expensive. I couldn't shop freely because I couldn't do duty-free, and it was hard to get around a lot because the weather was bad. Subway is very crowded. There are many places without street lights
London is simply fascinating, insanely diverse mixed architecture, great food there is super much to see and experience. London is very expensive, but there are also many free activities and you can save money through meal deals or cooking yourself.
I love London. This is the fifth time I visit the city, diversity, (yes in winter I have not visited it I say this because of the weather), at the forefront of everything, I would have liked to come with 20 years and I'm sure I'm still living there.
London is diverse, lively, international and simply great. Many opportunities to experience culture, excursions, parks and beautiful areas. Large museums can be visited free of charge. Transport system very good, but more expensive than usual.
A diverse, exciting city, but very expensive. It's great that most of the museums are free (donation). I also liked the variety of food markets and opportunities to discover new things. London is also very green with its parks.
I'll be going back for a holiday and staying in a hotel. There are lots of things to see and do, and I discovered London, which is magnificent. After that it's expensive, so you have to have a budget. I would highly recommend
London is the best destination to learn English for me. In this place we can find all what we need: history, multiculture, the greatest theatres, galleries, museums, good entertainment and many beautiful places.
It is definitely worth a visit to experience everything for yourself. The skyline at night from Tower Bridge, Westminster Abbey, Elizabeth Tower/Big Ben etc. is fantastic!
Very many different things to do. The guided city tours are also great for learning the language. Tourist attractions very expensive, but museums, parks etc. free.

I did not take part in the activities on offer. Different teachers have different teaching methods. The school endeavoured to meet the wishes of each individual.

The school is very modern and has got all technologies you need!
Maybe the courses should be more mixed. I was in one course with almost only students from Italy and they could speak Italian with each other.

Information about London
London is known around the world as being an excellent place to learn English. Not only is the accent one of the clearest in the country but it is buzzing with activity twenty four seven. The nightlife is fantastic with world famous bands and DJs often playing in one of the many music venues around the city. During the day there are an endless array of restaurants, museums, shops, festivals and, of course, the great British pub for you to visit. You will never run out of things to do. It is a great place to learn all about the history and culture of England with sights such as the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace and Tower Bridge. There are excellent transport links within the city itself as well as to other cities further afield. It is a great base to explore all that England has to offer. As you can see, London has it all and more!
The reputation that learning English in London holds comes at a price, and that price is expensive. It is very pricey compared to other cities in the country. It is possible for you to find cheaper options but this does mean that you will be further out of the city or within the winter months. London is a fast paced city and often it can be difficult to connect with locals. Why not take up a hobby that you enjoy to break into a group of local friends.
