Information about Broadstairs
Why Broadstairs? This little beach resort is perched right on the tip of Kent, to the South East of England. The most noteworthy feature of the town is its sandy beach, which has been awarded the blue flag standard of quality. This small town's claim to fame was that it was frequented by the famous English author Charles Dickens and there is a Dickens House Museum as well as a festival in June to celebrate this historical link. The area boasts beautiful cliff walks that can take you in either direction from Broadstairs to the closest large towns of Margate and Ramsgate.
