International House

The attention to the student, with all the teaching and non-teaching staff always aware of your needs, both inside and outside the school. The facilities are exceptional: coffee, tea, microwave, fridge, table football, outdoor terraces, dining room... Impressive. Very complete social program.

The teachers were open to questions, taught the lessons effectively and used various methods. There were lots of chances to talk- individually, in pair work and in class.
There was always a helpful staff member or a receptionist around if you wanted to ask questions.

Q&A - Questions and answers about Bristol

  • The schools we work with offer a wide range of accommodation (homestay, single or shared rooms in flats or residences, etc.). Homestay is the most recommended option for a true language immersion experience, and if you also take into account that in most cases half or full board is also included, you will have the opportunity to continue practising the language around the dinner table, and you will learn much more about the local culture and traditions.

  • In Bristol, Bayswater, LSI, BLC International, Castle School, St. Giles, and Embassy Summer offer day camps for kids and teenagers. Just let us know what you preferred dates and we will be happy to recommend the best options for you.

  • We work as an agency promoting language programmes throughout the world but we do not arrange any accommodation for our students. Our individual partner schools arrange accommodation for their students. I recommend that you contact the language schools directly in the area where you have your accommodation.

  • The school International House offers junior programmes not only in summer but in spring and winter too. You can check our website for specific start dates
