How our students rated their experience in Cambridge
What our students said about Cambridge
It is a wonderful place. First of all, it is very safe. The people are polite and generous, and the overall atmosphere is more economically well off than in other cities. It is a moderately small, rural town, but when it comes to shopping, there are many upscale and renowned stores, probably due to the large number of tourists. The old town center is spectacular. However, it is not the most exciting or glamorous city. You can get to London in an hour by train, so it would be nice to visit from time to time.
Japan
Small but charming city with things to do. I imagine that for very long periods, 5-6 months it is too small for you but you always have the train to escape to another city.
Spain
Museums, collages, churches. I would like to mention Daxfort air museum which i guess is not a part of Cambridge even if it is close to it but i was there and i loved it.
Slovenia
Everything was fine but many Chinese tourists. I thought 'There is a China Town near King's college.'
South Korea
I lived in Cambridge for 2 years, i will not give an opinion based on this course
Italy
Too crowded and too expensive. Oxford is nicer.
Germany
I loved it. I would repeat the city.

Friendly administrative and teaching staff, always willing to help. If you come for a long time, you can take a small break for a week (prior notice) and they will extend the week you missed. The facilities are fine.
Good location. Twice a week they have free activities with teachers to practice speaking with other students outside of the academy in a more relaxed environment.

29 October 2018
Course: General English 20 - 2 weeks
Student age: 19 years

Friendly atmosphere
Unilateral transfer fees have been uncommon within the EU since January 2018, therefore delayed receipt of payment. The school, for its part, will not reveal the address of the accommodation until two days before the start of the course, despite the advance payment. Very uncomfortable when travelling abroad! Better: add the transaction fees to the total price from the outset, because the banks have to act according to the law - even after Brexit.

Questions and answers about Cambridge
- Do you only offer junior programmes in the summer? Most of our junior courses are throughout the summer, but some schools run them all year round. For instance, Sir George Camp (14-17 years old) offered by the school Studio Cambridge, runs during the academic year: from January to June and from August to December. We would like to attend the same school but we have different levels, so we will be in different groups. Can we still be in the same family?“Absolutely, the accommodation can be arranged regardless the language level, as long as there's space for all the members of the family, you can stay in the same accommodation and practice the language at different levels.”Antonio, Area Manager from LanguageCourse.net - May 20, 2022
