Bournemouth ratings & opinions
How our students rated their experience in Bournemouth
What our students said about Bournemouth
Even though it's not the best season to visit, Bournemouth didn't fail to attract us by its mild climate, calm atmosphere and heart-warming locals. Public transportation is inconvenient which makes it rather difficult to hang out at night. Thus, if you prioritize night-life, it might not be the best place. You have an access to everywhere in England, so it'll be your good base for your travels.
Japan
The autumn is just perfect for studying in a calm and relaxed atmosphere with few tourists. It is a good environment to study English seriously. The students who arrive at this time of the year are all very serious and calm.
Japan
It was a compact place to enjoy nature and city life. During high season, I am more concerned about trash on the streets and on the beaches.
Japan
A wonderful city, suitable for teenagers who come to learn the language.
Russia
Great and all services are available: studying, entertainment, shopping
Saudi Arabia
Nice city with lots of things to do with classmates after school.
Germany
Bournemouth is a beautiful tourist city with many attractions
Oman
What school directors said about Bournemouth

One of Britain’s most popular seaside resorts, it is a lively university town just over 1 hour and a half away from London. It has a mild climate, 12 kilometres of sandy beaches , over 800 hectares of beautiful parks, gardens and extensive leisure facilities.

Great for students who want a more affordable option that living in London or Oxford, but still want easy access to other UK cities and major airports. Bournemouth is surrounded by stunning coastline, national parks, and countryside, making it ideal for those who enjoy spending time in the great outdoors or taking part in a range of outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, horse riding, and surfing.

Bournemouth is a thriving town and home to the beach awarded Best Beach in Britain in 2018 and 2019 by TripAdvisor!
Bournemouth is one of the most beautiful towns on the south coast with 12km of sandy beach and the breathtaking Jurassic coastline on your door step

Bournemouth’s town centre is within easy reach with its vibrant nightlife, theatres and restaurants. Nearby are great places to visit including the New Forest, and the famous Jurassic Coast. London is only 95 minutes by train.

Bournemouth is the number 1 destination for the best beaches, activities and high-quality teachers.
Most recent student reviews of language schools in Bournemouth

The teachers and staff are very helpful, even offering snacks. The activities are excellent and the value of the program is more than the tuition.
The best and most cost-efficient school I have ever been to. I would honestly come back.
27 October 2022
Course: General English - 4 weeks
Student age: 59 years

All the teachers are very friendly and call all the students by their first names. The quality of the classes is excellent and I am satisfied with all aspects of the school.
Everybody I met was very kind and I made some really good and irreplaceable friends. I would highly recommend this school to those who want to make friends with people from different cultures that they have never encountered before, in an environment where there are very few Asians or other people familiar to them.
15 August 2022
Course: English Plus - 8 weeks
Student age: 21 years

The teachers are trying hard to help the students.
The school needs to review its administrative work and services and try to develop them
20 December 2021
Course: General English (20) - 12 weeks
Student age: 43 years

Well-equipped rooms and nice staff and the lessons were very good.
23 August 2021

4 February 2019
Course: General English (15) - 4 weeks
Student age: 36 years

Some teachers are really good quality and the employees are friendly people.
Decide students' levels in more detail and place them accordingly. Also do not change the teacher constantly.
6 September 2018
Course: Elementary Standard Course 20 - 8 weeks
Student age: 20 years

Some teachers, those with more years of experience, were really good and helped me improve my English. The younger ones, on the other hand, were totally unable to properly develop the lessons.
27 August 2018
Course: General English (25) - 2 weeks
Student age: 29 years

I really liked the organisation with the students, with the schedules etc.
Nice experience with young and professionally trained people.
22 August 2018
Course: General English (25) - 2 weeks
Student age: 50 years

Involvement of teachers, materials available for learning, atmosphere and help from school staff.
10 August 2018
Course: General English (25) - 2 weeks
Student age: 16 years

Small groups and talking with the others students allows to considerably increase the level in oral
Problem of organisation on the first day, you only have the test and then just a little presentation, so you lose all the lessons scheduled on this day.
A problem if you stay only one week, you pay for a certain number of hours and you lose lessons of the first day.
10 August 2018
Course: General English (25) - 1 week
Student age: 17 years

The way of teaching and the people
Perfect
9 August 2018
Course: Standard (G-1.20) - 2 weeks
Student age: 16 years

The first week I liked a lot, the other two weeks, after the massive groups of students arrived, I did not like. They changed my schedule to the afternoon and I really did not like the organisation for people my age, I only shared classes with much younger students and from Saudi Arabia, and when I mentioned it they said they could not change me, because I think there were no other possibilities.
I think the school, as far as I could see, is well organised for young students.
