Information about Leamington Spa
Why Leamington Spa? Nestled in the heart of the midlands, close to Coventry, is the little village of Leamington Spa. As suggested by the name, the town is known for its water, which was believed to have medical properties and people would visit from far and wide to bathe in the spas. Although, this picturesque village seems like another world away from the busy capital, it is only two hours away on a well connected line, making it very possible for a day trip or overnight stay. The town has managed to keep its regency decor in some parts, particularly in the main boulevard, which will take you back to when the young Queen Victoria visited the town.
