What our students said about Bristol

It's a very beautiful city, as there are also lots of trees and flowers growing there, which I find very nice! I also really like the houses there! The buses were almost always on time and travelled relatively often. All in all, I would love to come again.

Information about Bristol

Why Bristol? Bristol is a city in southwest England and is one of the UK's most popular tourist destinations. It was named as the best city to live in the UK by the Sunday Times newspaper in 2014 and 2017 and it has also won awards for the European Green Capital. The city has two universities and a wide variety of artistic and sporting organisations and venues. The modern economy is built on the creative media, electronics and aerospace industries, and the harbour's 19th-century warehouses now contain restaurants, shops and the city-centre docks have been redeveloped as centres of heritage and culture and includes a contemporary art gallery. It is very well connected to London and other major UK cities by road and rail, and to the world by sea and air.

Q&A - Questions about English courses and schools in Bristol

I would like to go to Bristol to improve my speaking skills. I think the best thing would be to stay with a family who can give me the opportunity to practise my English more, even if I let you advise me.
The schools we work with offer a wide range of accommodation (homestay, single or shared rooms in flats or residences, etc.). Homestay is the most recommended option for a true language immersion experience, and if you also take into account that in most cases half or full board is also included, you will have the opportunity to continue practising the language around the dinner table, and you will learn much more about the local culture and traditions.

We are interested in booking a day camp for students aged 13 and 15. Do you have any options?
In Bristol, Bayswater, LSI, BLC International, Castle School, St. Giles, and Embassy Summer offer day camps for kids and teenagers. Just let us know what you preferred dates and we will be happy to recommend the best options for you.
Ana Carolina Dos Santos, LanguageCourse.Net - Mar 12, 2023
I would like to host students in Bristol. Who do I contact?
We work as an agency promoting language programmes throughout the world but we do not arrange any accommodation for our students.
Our individual partner schools arrange accommodation for their students. I recommend that you contact the language schools directly in the area where you have your accommodation.
Ana Carolina Dos Santos, LanguageCourse.Net - Feb 12, 2023
Is it possible to book a junior programme outside the summer season in Bristol?
The school International House offers junior programmes not only in summer but in spring and winter too. You can check our website for specific start dates

The evaluations by students after they complete a course is excellent. The discount for using your website is also a great incentive. It also would be wonderful if the website would include more cities and a bigger selection of schools in each city.
Basil Havens verified client
The service of languagecourse.net is great, I booked already 3 schools and I can highly recommend it. In fact, I tell everybody I meet on my journey in South America about this website and how well everything is organized.
Gabriele Ragger verified client
I am very satisfied. I found more/relevant information on your webpage than on the school's website itself. It is the cheapest offer. I'm going to book my next course on your site soon.
Attila Vertesi verified client
You're just great, doing a fantastic job. I'll be back in a couple of weeks and be booking my next stay abroad with you again (as always).

Your service was excellent, really following up and holding my hand.! My older step-brother used your service a few years ago to study Spanish in Salamanca and Granada and we found LanguageCourse.Net so helpful then as well.

Just keep up the good work. The organization is excellent, so that even less experienced travellers would feel ok to come to China. I also felt really good in the host family, they were really great!
