You will learn about the art and culture and focus on the how the locals use the language. It's a course in the teacher's home not a school.
Procedure in my opinion incorrect - the last day - request to the participant for the final evaluation of the experience coordinated by the tutor. Especially if minors, they will NEVER give a genuine opinion in front of him.

The school has various activities not only study but outside of the class. Lessons were interactive.
I liked that the students were from many countries and various working backgrounds. It was a good opportunity to meet interesting people over the age of 30.

Friendly atmosphere, great teacher
The school is located very nicely. The teacher was very well prepared for classes. 40+ course includes additional afternoon classes with a teacher from the school. Their form depends on participants. In my case 4 one hour trips with the teacher. Classes do not take place every day.

The atmosphere
Two areas for improvement: - courses organisation: group formation and coordination between teachers to better set the objectives and identify the skills to be acquired; - Coordination between the residence and the school regarding the allocation of rooms and household issues.

Social interaction with people from different countries and cultures. The teacher was a great person.
For 50+ students there should be more talking, discussion, reading and understanding of English in different subjects. The course was too much into further university studies and different tests students should do and too much grammatical stuff. I would have liked to improve my talking, reading and understanding skills.

I'm used to travel. But this experience was unforgettable thanks to the students from different countries I met and thanks to the varied lessons and activities. When I saw the average age of my class, I felt uncomfortable but everything went fine. Warm welcome from the organizers.
The 50 + program is very expensive and not worth the cost. Several activities are organized by the school. In addition there are audio guides in several tourist sites. I would not choose the host family... Not enough exchange.
