How our students rated their experience in Bordeaux
What our students said about Bordeaux
Beautiful, elegant and charming city. Felt very safe and enjoyed exploring the city and nearby beaches. Would be nice to have the option to get the bus to Arcachon. Bordeaux is a great place to visit. However, it could do with more visible and thorough acknowledgement of the part it, and its citizens, took in the horrific kidnapping, raping, torture, murder and exploitation of the people it enslaved in Africa and Haiti. Questions were asked in our class about why monuments to people involved in the slave trade continue to stand.
England UK
Lot more relaxed than Paris. Locals easy to get in touch with. Would recommend to attend to the BlaBla language exchange twice a week for practicing and meeting locals

Overall a very good choice for learning French. The staff and professors are all very good and the progression was very good in a short time.
Online classes require a good reliable internet connection and many accommodations don’t have the connection stable enough

Very nice and competent staff, very well organised and varied lessons, excursions as part of the lessons outside the classroom. Great learning atmosphere.

The class I was in was very small with three people, which made for a great learning atmosphere. (I think I was lucky in this respect, as not many students had signed up for the beginners' course during that period).

Course: Super Intensive Programme - 1 week

Most of the teachers are very good and encourage you to participate and talk which is what it is about.
There aren't really any extracurricular activities which would allow students to get to know each other better and to talk a bit outside the school.
I did not like that they took us to the bookstore to buy a book that was expensive, considering what it is used for, and only for two weeks.
