How our students rated their experience in Biarritz
What our students said about Biarritz
Biarritz is a very beautiful Basque city whose traditions are recognizable. The coastline to the south exudes a certain charm with its steep slopes and the Côte des Basques is a great beach, but unfortunately only accessible for half a day. The Grande Plage is mainly used for tourist life, where it can get quite crowded in the high season. The weather is not so stable that Biarritz is the ideal place for sunbathing, but the waves there enable a unique surfing experience, which definitely makes up for a little wind or rain. The city is very well connected by buses and offers numerous restaurants.
Germany
Really liked the whole vibe of the place including the lovely beaches, great transport links, interesting places to visit etc.
Ireland
No assessment of the climate, as it was constantly over 30 degrees, even 40 for 2 days!
Austria
Its accessible, nice climate, good food and safe.

Course: Standard Programme - 1 week
Student age: 37 years

The students and teachers were as friendly as their families. The break time and lunchtime were all spent on the terrace, which led to an improvement in French. It was great that all the teachers knew each and every one. And I liked it because I liked the well-balanced class matched to the students, as well as the grammar statements.
It was nice that there was surfing for the afternoon class. There are free coffee and tea, so it was a very satisfying school.

Course: Intensive French Course 26 - 9 weeks
Student age: 27 years

I would like, that the teachers should have programs for learning for 2, 3, 4 weeks.
I started with the subjunctive during the first week. I find that this is not the most important lesson. It would be fine to talk about everyday life, the school-system, the history or the habits, the conditions of this country to get used to the language and to learn important vocabulary you need everyday.
With the written and oral tests, the school should see what lessons are important for the pupils and so they could organize the class.

The teaching
As I said directly to the school management, you must do more to include all, regardless of age, and how long you are registered for a course.
17 October 2016
Course: Standard Programme - 1 week

The atmosphere of the building. The very helpful, kind staff.
The classification of the students should be more organized. There is too big a difference in level among the students. Also, the teachers should share the information of the students when there is a change in teachers.

Course: Intensive Programme - 4 weeks
Student age: 53 years

The family environment and relaxed atmosphere, the teachers' professionalism and the availability, the different age range of students (which also allows a generational confrontation in the debates)

Send us a message with when you want to start.”Robin Rebecca Pietersma, LanguageCourse.Net - Jan 10, 2023I would like to book an intensive course of about 30 lessons per week and I would like to know if, once the course has started, I could change it to only 20 if I see that it is too heavy for me.“Making changes once the course has started is possible as long as the school has availability for the new course, but keep in mind that in most cases, schools do not make any refunds if the course has already started.”Rubén De Haro, LanguageCourse.Net - Dec 22, 2022I'm looking for French and golf lessons for a 16 year old boy in Biarritz during the summer.
