The school states that everyone who comes to GV Victoria comments on the friendly and positive atmosphere.
Location: Global Village (GV) Victoria is located in the charming city of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Housed downtown, the school is surrounded by amenities, eateries, links to public transport and attractions. Such attractions within walking distance of the school include the Bay Centre shopping mall, Victoria's Chinatown, the Royal BC Museum, Miniature World and more. The large green park space of Beacon Hill Park is also just a 22-minute walk from the school's front doors.
Course selection: Like many of the GV schools, GV Victoria provides courses suitable to students of all levels, but many of which are tailored towards Exam Preparation, University Pathways and Junior Summer programmes. In addition to General English available for students of all levels, Exam Preparation (IELTS, CELPIP, FCE, CAE, CPE) and English plus additional activities such as yoga, wine & cheese and trips & activities for students aged 50+, are offered throughout the year. Business English and English for Academic Purposes are also readily available. Immersive Junior programmes are available throughout the summer and winter school holidays.
Social and cultural: Students can participate in incredible natural experiences like whale watching or kayaking. Vancouver and Seattle are also within 2-3 hours of travel from the school.
School chain: Global Village (GV) English Centres have been supplying language tuition to international students for over 20 years. They currently have locations in Honolulu, Victoria, Vancouver and Calgary.
