What our students said about Dresden
Dresden is a city with a rich history, featuring many landmarks and interesting museums. However, if you're someone looking for nightlife and a party scene, Dresden may not be the ideal place.
Great choice. The Elba is beautiful with stunning bike paths through meadows and fields following the river. For folks who like to cycle, this is your city.
Considering the living expenses (quite high), the quality of the city is quite low. Other people said same things...
Unfortunately, several of the major museums were closed for restoration.
Impressive cultural wealth. A real discovery! I loved my stay.
I think very highly of Dresden, it is a very beautiful city.
Interesting history and architecture.
It's a beautiful, medium paced city!

Student support was excellent. There is a friendly, supportive atmosphere. The staff, administrative and teaching, showed flexibility and responsiveness to make the learning experience as successful as possible. Both Katrin and Patricia are excellent teachers.
Very warm, personal environment. Not 'institutional' or business-dominated.

Events in Dresden
July 2026The Schaubudensommer collective wants to invite street artists from a wide variety of genres from Dresden, Germany and Europe to perform on the main street for three days and turn the streets into a colorful festival full of art. This event presents a first-class and unique programme throughout three days. A festival that takes place in the middle of the week, during the everyday life of the city, as an intervention, as an after-work event, as an afternoon delight, as something unusually commonplace in summer.
