What our students said about Sevilla

Seville is a beautiful city that is safe and easy to get around on foot. The city is also clean and the friendliness of the locals is pleasant. Buildings such as the Giralda, cathedral, setas, the many small and large squares and Plaza de Espana are a delight. There are tapas bars and restaurants everywhere, the offer is very good. The city invites you to explore new things every day - every day of my 3 weeks was very nice.

5.0Ilona Germany

Beautiful city with great sights and an impressive old town. Nice nightlife areas and delicious tapas bars, though I didn't find an area with smaller shops and boutiques. Friendly locals and a beautiful river promenade. It would be nice to have a beach bar, as is now the case in many big cities along the river. I missed the sea a bit, but I knew that beforehand (-;

5.0Katrin Germany

I loved Seville. It is beautiful, full of history and very interesting. I am an older student and most of the other students were in their 20's so I didn't have much company after classes. I didn't mind but would have preferred a few more organized activities with the school.

4.0Kim

It's a city I don't want to recommend when it's too hot like July-August, but it's a really good place for security. It's lively at night, and it would be really nice to go to an academy while staying at a homestay near the cathedral.

5.0Songwon South Korea

Great city if you like culture, shopping, tapas, warm climate in November, narrow streets with lots of people eating and drinking outside. It's quite noisy though, so you should like that too.

4.0Katja Germany

Sevilla is one of the prettiest cities in Europe :) Lots of stuff to do. Nice food, great opportunities to go out incl. Salsa & Bachata dancing. Would definitely go again

5.0Daniel Germany

There are quite a lot of tourists. But Seville is a great city and I recommend visiting there. Especially the teachers and staff at CLIC are the best.

5.0Yumiko Japan

Great city to visit. Easy to walk around both to visit sights and enjoy cafes and restaurants. Lively and beautiful. I always felt safe everywhere.

5.0Johanna Marianne Portugal

Great city with lots to do. Unfortunately I had torrential rain for my entire stay which changed what I was able to do during the evenings.

5.0Cat England UK

It's a great city, the place is beautiful. The school is in an important place in Seville. Lots of ideas after school to explore Seville.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions about Spanish courses in Sevilla

I would like to start lessons for 50+ for 5 weeks from late December/early January. Preference is Malaga or Seville. Several years ago I completed my A1. What do you recommend?
I had a quick look to see if there are 50+ courses starting in late December and/or January, but unfortunately this is not the case. Most 50+ courses are in autumn or spring.

Why would you like to join a 50+ course?

If the reason is because you would like to take classes with other 50+ students, it is good to know that 50+ courses are actually always taught in mixed age groups (16+), but it is a 50+ course because of the activities especially for 50+ students. With that, a 50+ course is also usually a maximum of 2 weeks.

Since you would like to do 5 weeks from the end of December or January, I recommend joining a general course in a school where the average age is a bit higher. A general course often starts every Monday so you can choose your own dates and your desired length. And by having the highest average age, you are still most likely to take classes with some peers. Is that an idea?
Robin Rebecca Pietersma, Language Travel Consultant from LanguageCourse.Net - Aug 21, 2023
I am 75 years old, am I too old to join the 50+ group?
Of course not! You are not too old to join any of our adult groups, there is no maximum age and the schools are happy to welcome you.

The evaluations by students after they complete a course is excellent. The discount for using your website is also a great incentive. It also would be wonderful if the website would include more cities and a bigger selection of schools in each city.
Basil Havens verified client
The service of languagecourse.net is great, I booked already 3 schools and I can highly recommend it. In fact, I tell everybody I meet on my journey in South America about this website and how well everything is organized.
Gabriele Ragger verified client
I am very satisfied. I found more/relevant information on your webpage than on the school's website itself. It is the cheapest offer. I'm going to book my next course on your site soon.
Attila Vertesi verified client

Your service was excellent, really following up and holding my hand.! My older step-brother used your service a few years ago to study Spanish in Salamanca and Granada and we found LanguageCourse.Net so helpful then as well.

Just keep up the good work. The organization is excellent, so that even less experienced travellers would feel ok to come to China. I also felt really good in the host family, they were really great!
