Location: Accademia Leonardo Salerno is located in the culturally rich city of Salerno, in Italy's Campania region. The school is housed in a historic noble building in the centre of the City of Salerno, with restaurants, pizzerias, shops and beaches just a few steps away. Attractions within walking distance of the school include the Villa Comunale de Salerno Park, the Piazza della Libertà, Spiaggia Santa Teresa and the Botanical garden- Giardino della Minerva.
Course selection: The school supplies Italian courses for students of all levels, over several age groups. In addition to General Italian, taught over various schedules and intensities, the school also provides Senior 50+ programmes, Junior courses, Teacher Training programmes and Cultural courses several times throughout the year.
Getting around: Accademia Leonardo Salerno is around a 1km walk from Salerno's central train station and is a few steps away from the closest bus routes and ferry terminal. Students can easily explore the city and the rest of the Amalfi Coast with ease.
Accommodation: The school has a range of options to offer students for accommodation. These options include homestays within local families, shared apartments, bed & breakfasts, Youth hostels and individual apartments.

“The school was across the road from a beautiful park.”

Other comments: There were no social activities. Or if there were I wasn't aware of them. Due to there being only 1 other student there wasn't a social feel. The teachers, although they were lovely, were not very inclusive. The organisation and the reception aspect of the school was fantastic. However. Classes were very short during the morning 9:15/9:20 - 11:20/11:30. This meant I missed out on 5 additional hours for the week. Because of this I felt my learning was limited

"Unfortunately I didn't like the room in the accommodation, too loud, too dark ,
the mattress too hard etc. I would have liked to change it, but the advantage of this room was only the location.
I really liked the Santa Teresa bar, I rated it 5 stars for meals.
