What we dislike about the school
- Do not offer favorable cancellation terms in the case of a student getting a visa rejected.
Location: This school is located in the River North neighbourhood of Chicago. This is north of the Chicago River from the city centre. This old Industrial centre of the city has been transformed into a high-end part of the city. There are luxury eateries, fancy cocktail bars and classy nightclubs found in this section of Chicago.
Local transportation: The city centre is 15 minutes by bus from the school. Chicago has a well connected metro system that runs throughout the city. The closest station to the school is Grand Metro, which is a short walk from the main entrance. This is a red line station, and this goes right through the heart of the city.
City features: The school is a few roads from the Riverfront. This side of the river has some interesting attractions including Ohio Street Beach, some prominent museums such as the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago and Lincoln Park. The majority of these features are walkable from the school. Lincoln Park is 20 minutes by public transportation. All the major features of Chicago, such as The Art Institute of Chicago, Millennium Park and Willis Tower are reachable by public transportation in under half an hour from the school.
Course structure: General English courses, exam preparation courses for the GMAT, GRE and TOEFL exam, individual classes, semi-private packages, semester courses and a business programme are all available at the school.
School facilities: The classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards. Students have access to a computer lab, a library, student lounge and wifi.

The course combines 20 general English lessons with 7 lessons of online teacher-led study sessions totalling 27 lessons per week.
Upgrade/Add-on:
- Guaranteed morning classes (max 12 weeks): USD 20 per week.
Students with F1 visa will be required to attend 4 K+ Learning Club sessions (45 minutes each) per week for a total of 3 hours, as is
currently required to meet the 18-hour full-time study requirement. Attendance will continue to be monitored and tracked.
Students without an F1 visa can attend a maximum of 3 K+ Learning Club sessions (45 minutes each) per week for a total of 2.25 hours.
The remaining course hours - regardless of visa type- will be allocated to K+ Learning Space and/ or K+ extra. As a reminder, K+ Learning Space/ K+ extra hours are not tracked or required for any students.
