What we dislike about the school
- Average age of students is a bit higher than at most schools. Great for students 25 years or older.
Location: Nueva Lengua Medellin is located in the "ciudad de la eterna primavera", Medellin, Colombia. The school is housed in a mansion, in the Lalinde neighbourhood, surrounded by eateries, shops, museums, parks and links to public transport. Places of social and cultural interest within walking distance of the school include the Pablo Escobar Museum, Centro Comercial Vizcaya, Lleras Park, Parque de El Poblado, Monterrey shopping mall and much more. The Jose Maria Cordova International Airport is a 25-minute taxi ride from the school.
Social and cultural: Medellin has many sites and places of social and cultural interest. Within a 45-minute journey of the school via public transport, students have The Jardin Botanic de Medellin, Pueblito Paisa, El Castillo Museum and Gardens, the Aquarium Medellin and much more.
Course selection: Nueva Lengua Medellin supplies Spanish courses for students of all levels. In addition to General Spanish over several schedules and intensities, the school also supplies Spanish for Specific Purposes, packs of Private Tuition, Spanish + Dancing, and Spanish + Medicine.
Accommodation: Students studying with Nueva Lengua Medellin have a choice of Homestay accommodation with local families or staying in a Student House. Various room types and meal plans are available. All accommodation is subject to availability.
Getting around: The closest train station to the school is El Poblado, which is a 25-30-minute walk from the school's front doors.
