Location: Expanish Barcelona is a Spanish language institute located in the artistic and culturally rich city of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The school is housed in the bustling Eixample neighbourhood, a stone's throw from the city centre, several modes of public transport, shops, cafes, restaurants and sites of social and cultural interest. Such places within walking distance of the school include El Corte Ingles shopping centre, Arc de Triomf, the Egyptian Museum of Barcelona, Catalan artist Antoni Gaudi's La Pedrera and Casa Batllo, the high-end shops of Passeig de Gracia and much more.
Getting around: The school is within walking distance of the city centre and has several modes and lines of transportation, ensuring the beaches, shops, and attractions of the city are all within easy reach. The school has many bus, metro and train routes close by, with attractions such as Las Ramblas and el Mercat de la Boqueria, Plaça de Catalunya, El Raval, El Borne, the Cathedral of Barcelona and the Picasso Museum Barcelona all within walking distance. Barceloneta Beach and the coastline are around a 25-minute journey from the school via the metro.
Course selection: Expanish provides Spanish language courses for students of all levels. In addition to General Spanish, which is available over several schedules and intensities, the school also provides Exam Preparation programmes (DELE, SIELE), Internship programmes, combination courses of group and private lessons, and programmes of Private tuition.

Intensive Spanish is the most popular course on offer from Expanish at their Barcelona location. Your Spanish skill development will evolve thanks to 20 hours per week of carefully designed lesson plans that focus on all four of the main areas of learning a second language: reading, writing, speaking and listening.
Your classes throughout this course will be small, meaning that you and your teacher will get to know each other more, and thus work effectively together to move you towards your Spanish language goals.
