Location: ICE Irish College of English Junior Summer Centre is inKildare, about 45 minutes by car from the centre of Dublin. The programme is housed in Clongowes Wood College, a well known Irish Boarding School, right in the heart of the Irish countryside.
Course structure: The English classes take place in the morning from 09:15 to 12:30 during the weekdays, with a 15-minute break in the middle. Teachers will provide students with progress reports throughout their stay, and there is a certificate of attendance given at the end of the course.
Intercultural Irish Teenage Programme: During these weekly classes, local students join in with the teacher to help take the lesson. This allows the students at ICE Irish College of English Junior Summer Centre to interact and work with Irish peers to improve their communication skills in English.
Accommodation: Students stay in a full board residential accommodation at this historical campus. Male and females are separated. The rooms are either single or shared, with shared bathrooms and showers on each floor.
Activities: There are two or three off-site trips to Dublin; two activities in the centre of the city and one dinner in the capital city. For the rest of the afternoons and evenings during the weekdays, the school provides students with a well organised social programme on campus. During the weekends, students will be taken on a full day excursion to an Irish city or local attraction.
