Teachers assess students weekly and there are mid and end-of-course tests, class participation, homework and online resources. At the end of your course, you will receive a certificate and transcript of your results.

HLI offers their home tuition experience in Cardiff, the charming capital of Wales. This option involves living with your private tutor in their home, where you will have your own room and take 15 hours of lessons every week that are based on any subject or area of grammar that you would like to focus on. Your daily meals are provided by your host family, which will let you concentrate on your language studies, but also give you the chance to speak in English with your hosts.

You’ll always have something to do in the great city of Cardiff during your stay, whether it’s going to enjoy live music at the Wales Millennium Centre, cheering for the local Rugby or ice hockey team, or simply enjoying the diverse and energetic nightlife scene that Cardiff is so well-known for. Whatever your tastes, your host family will help point you in the right direction.

With this programme, you will be completely immersed in the target language and culture. The private lessons will take place at the teacher’s home and are tailored to your needs and interests. The programme also includes accommodation in a private bedroom (Sunday to Sunday) and 3 meals per day with the teacher’s family.
You can customise your stay by booking additional lessons, activities, courses for specific purposes, private bathroom, accommodation of superior standard, airport transfer and close supervision for young students.
