You will visit the Palacio de Bellas Artes, a majestic building that is widely regarded as one of the most important cultural institutions in Mexico. Your teacher will explain the history and cultural significance of this stunning structure, which features a blend of Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles, as well as a range of murals and sculptures by some of Mexico’s most famous artists. After exploring the Palacio de Bellas Artes, you will head to the Torre Latinoamericana, which is one of the tallest buildings in Mexico City. From the top of this iconic tower, you will be able to enjoy panoramic views of the city, including the famous Zócalo and surrounding neighborhoods. During your visit to the museum, your Spanish teacher will guide you through the many exhibits and help you understand the significance and meaning behind the different artefacts and cultural practices that are on display.
