11 Italian General Courses for adults in Turin

The intensive course mainly focuses on speaking but it also helps develop all 4 language skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) with different activities.Intensive Standard courses are Italian language courses with 5 to 8 people. They are suitable for people who want to learn Italian in a group, meet other people and have fun while learning the language. Though lessons are held for a group, teachers will adapt the contents and the speed of the course to the needs of the members of the group. The contents of the single levels (A1 to C1/C2) correspond to the requirements of the European Frame of Reference for Languages and are supplemented by information and special contents regarding Turin and Piedmont. Students can participate in the free afternoon activities aimed at getting to know Turin and to practice Italian outside the classroom. Textbooks and other teaching materials, as well as WiFi access, a registration fee and an attendance certificate, are included in the course price.

This course is exclusively for German students doing a Bildungsurlaub programme. Our school is recognized in most of the German Bundeslaender. Students attending an Italian language course recognized as Bildungsurlaub in their "Land" will attend 4 hours in the morning and, after the lunch break, 2 hours in the afternoon. The student will receive on registration a certificate of registration and at the end of the course a certificate of attendance.

It consists of 4 Italian lessons a day, totaling 20 lessons a week. The lessons are principally based on spoken communication, but also deal with the more formal aspects of the language (lexis/vocabulary and grammar). Lots of time is dedicated to activities that encourage dialogue and discussion about various topics, from art and literature, to modern city culture. It is recommended for those students who want to either start or go on studying Italian through an intensive program that still leaves plenty of time to discover the artistic and historic parts of the city and also to have some fun.

This course is reserved for Swedish students with CSN study grants only. students of Swedish nationality can apply for a study loan to attend a language course in any of Scuola Leonardo da Vinci schools (Florence, Milan, Rome and Turin) as they are all recognized by CSN Lund - Sweden (Swedish National Board of Student Aid). Financial state loans from the CSN are only available for Swedish students. 13 weeks of the Italian language course.

The intensive Italian language course is our standard course, and consists of 4 Italian lessons a day, totalling 20 lessons a week. The lessons are held from Monday to Friday in groups of 12 students, led by qualified teachers, who are passionate about their work. The lessons begin every Monday for students that already have some knowledge of the Italian language, and every two weeks for absolute beginners. The lessons are principally based on spoken communication, but also deal with the more formal aspects of the language (lexis/vocabulary and grammar). Lots of time is dedicated to activities that encourage dialogue and discussion about various topics, from art and literature, to modern city culture. The teachers use not only text books, but also other support materials (newspaper articles, songs, films and other authentic material from everyday life) to give students the opportunity to engage with different forms of contemporary communication and to improve their communication abilities. Our golden rule is: the teacher is the director, but the group of students are the real protagonists of the lessons.

Come and study Italian with a private teacher in their home, in Turin. You will receive 15 carefully and professionally planned one-to-one lessons per week in your teacher’s family home, where you will also benefit from the family’s conversation in Italian, as well as their native cultural knowledge. Having an Italian family accompany you during your first time living in Italy will help you understand some of the cultural differences that might exist between Turin and your place of origin. One of the first areas you will check out should be the historic centre since this is where the vast majority of sights, shops and entertainment options are located - however just be aware that this is the area with the most international visitors, so if you want to be immersed around Italian speakers then you may wish to hang out in the San Salvario area of Turin.
