Location: Centro Italiano is located in the historic centre of Naples, within walking distance of the Cloister of Santa Chiara, Castel Nuovo, Castel dell' Ovo and many shops and of course, restaurants and pizzerias. A short 5-minute walk from the Universitá Subway station, in the University district, the school is in a great location for students to enjoy the city to its fullest.

Ethos of school: With over 35 years of experience in teaching Italian as a second language, Centro Italiano specialises in teaching Italian to foreigners and offers students a chance to discover a unique and authentic look into the Napolitano lifestyle. They promote an integrated approach to their teaching, encouraging students to speak Italian from their arrival to their departure.

Course structure: Courses are available to students of all levels, ranging from Intensive courses taught in groups to private lessons or Italian in conjunction with classical singing and more. Business courses, as well as weekend courses, are also available.

Cultural activities: The school also has several experiences to offer their students, making sure they can learn about the local culture whilst studying the language. These experiences include Italian and photography, drawing and painting as well as culinary experiences including wine and pizza. All are sure to give students many memorable moments. The content covered over the duration of my course was pertinent and relevant to those looking to gain competent knowledge to speak and write in basic Italian. I was able to travel within the region, take care of basic health needs, and begin to integrate into the cultural norms and morays during my stay. The accommodations provided per my arrangement were an absolute dream. The host family were angels and really added to the immersive learning experience. I am anticipating signing up for online lessons until I return for another session.”

"4th floor with lift: Separate room with bathroom in a flat, ok overall. Thanks to noise protection windows I was able to sleep well in the attractive but restless Spanish quarter! Centro Italia max. 15min. walk away.

"The flat was very good! Highly recommended. Everything there, fully equipped, about 5 minutes from the school. The landlady is a teacher at the school. She and her partner are always on hand to help with any questions or problems. I can highly recommend this.

“We offer afternoon activities as guided tours, seminars and meetings at the bar to improve conversation skills .
Teachers participate in the activities with the students to support them in their linguistic path.
