7 Afternoon courses in Paris

This affordable afternoon course encourages students to practise their French through the use of original material and to learn related idiomatic expressions in various contexts. Emphasis is placed on improving confidence in speaking and listening in French through a range of everyday situations. Subjects covered in class include topical vocabulary and language, study of grammatical structure, pronunciation and listening skills, social skills, cultural awareness, reading and writing skills, and conversational French. The afternoon course is open to all levels, from complete beginner to advanced.

This afternoon course includes 5 afternoon workshops: - Monday and Friday: Oral Communication OR French Culture and Civilisation. - Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday: Writing & Grammar. This is an afternoon course of 8 classes per week specifically aimed to improve oral communications. The ACCORD French Oral Communication lessons are open to all levels, from complete beginner to advanced. The French Oral Communication Course encourages students to focus on improving confidence in speaking and listening in French in a range of everyday situations! Subjects covered in class include: – Topical vocabulary and language, – Pronunciation and listening skills, – Social skills, – Cultural awareness, – Conversational French.

The two afternoon classes dedicated to French Culture and Civilisation are Mondays and Fridays. These ACCORD Paris French Culture and Civilisation lessons introduce students from all over the world to the French Culture and Civilisation. Timetable: Monday and Friday, from 14:00 to 17:00 Two afternoon workshops dedicated to the French Culture and Civilisation. Students work on specific topics such as: the Eiffel Tower, the Passages couverts, Montmartre, the Quartier du Marais, the Ile Saint Louis and Ile de la Cité, as well as French cinema, literature, French singers, etc. For some topics, the teachers offer the class to dedicate part of the lesson to a visit related to the topic studied in class, for example the Champs de Mars nearby the Eiffel Tower and the ACCORD Language School, the Trocadéro area (opposite the Eiffel Tower) Passage des Panoramas, Passage Jouffroy, Passage Verdeau, Passage des Princes, Passage du Caire (the oldest Parisian Passage).
