What our students said about Kuala Lumpur
It's a very interesting city to live in, with its cosmopolitan atmosphere, cultural mix and culinary diversity. There are plenty of things to do in the surrounding area and the proximity of other Asian destinations at very affordable prices makes it a more than interesting destination for Europeans, I think.
It was good that there weren't many Koreans, but Malaysia is not an English-speaking country, but a Malay-speaking country. It's not a good country to learn English. The cost of living is cheap, so it's okay to live there.
The climate is pleasant, except for the rain. Prices are equivalent to Shanghai, so be prepared.
Kuala Lumpur is a modern, safe city with beautiful scenery and plenty to do.
Overall, it is suitable for living and studying. It is a very nice city.
Safe, comfortable city. Public transportation is very well developed.

The school's location in Mont Kiara, an area where many Japanese residents live, meant that the safety was excellent, and we felt completely secure sending our child to school there. The teachers are top quality, and I think I was particularly lucky in my first and third months at Stratford because I certainly had the best teachers in the school.
